Chuhching vs Whop

Whop is $0/month, which is exactly why it's worth doing the arithmetic. A $100 sale costs about $6 all-in once the 3% platform fee and 2.7% + $0.30 processing land, and payouts cost more on top. Chuhching charges a subscription and takes no cut.

Pick Whop if…

  • You want zero monthly cost and are happy trading a percentage of revenue for it — for a new or seasonal offer that's genuinely the lower-risk shape.
  • You sell access to a Discord or Telegram community, which Whop gates natively better than we do, and you want its marketplace discovery.

Pick Chuhching if…

  • You're doing enough volume that ~6% per sale costs more than a subscription. Run your monthly revenue against both before deciding.
  • You want a real CRM, outbound sequences and booking rather than a storefront plus a chat server.

Common questions

What does Whop actually cost per sale?

On a $100 domestic sale, roughly $6.00: a 3% platform fee plus 2.7% + $0.30 processing. International cards add about 1.5% and currency conversion about 1%, pushing the ceiling near 5.2% + $0.30 before Stripe or PayPal fees. Payouts are $2.50 flat for next-day ACH, or 4% + $1 for instant — pulling $1,000 out instantly costs $41 (verified August 2026).

At what revenue does Whop stop being cheaper?

Do the arithmetic on your own numbers rather than trusting a rule of thumb: multiply your monthly sales volume by roughly 6% and compare it to a flat subscription. At a few hundred dollars a month Whop's $0 base wins comfortably. Once you're consistently past a few thousand, the percentage usually costs more than a plan does, and it keeps scaling while a plan doesn't.

Doesn't Whop's marketplace bring me customers?

It can, and that's a real advantage we have no equivalent for — Whop dropped its 30% marketplace commission in May 2025, which made that discovery much cheaper to use. If marketplace traffic is meaningfully driving your sales, that's a strong reason to stay. If you're bringing your own audience, you're paying a percentage for distribution you aren't using.
