Why is my ActiveCampaign bill so much higher than the advertised price?
Because the headline number is quoted at 1,000 contacts. Starter opens around $15/mo and Plus around $49/mo at that size, but the same Plus plan at 10,000 contacts runs about $239/mo (verified August 2026). Contact tiers run from 1,000 to 50,000 and the price climbs with every step, including contacts you aren't actively emailing. Chuhching doesn't price on a contact ladder.
Is ActiveCampaign's automation builder better?
